Years ago, there were places where day laborers congregated. You could go there in the morning and hire people. I did it a few times for help with moving or doing work on my property. They worked their asses off and did good work.
I have no problem with honest, hard working Latinos. I've met quite a few.

The problem is, getting a green card is hard, it is expensive and can take years. It would be nice if people could apply without fear of deportation while they go through the process.

I think the current ICE program is more about xenophobia than law enforcement. Not all laws are just. For instance, segregation laws were unjust but racists supported them.

Where I live there was a warehouse tht was purchased to be turned into a detention facility that would have all the capacity needed for the future. The outrage from democrats caused ICE to shut down the project. These deportations are going to happen with or without humane facilities. Any subsequent deaths are owned by democrats.
