Did I mess up choosing to build my business in the US instead of Russia?

I’m honestly questioning my decision (well mine and my brother’s) to move and do business in the US. It’s a constant hemorrhage of money ad time.

My sister and my half brothers are still 100% but I am not so sure - although objectively we are doing well and fulfilling our goals.

But I don’t know. The more this goes on, the more it feels wrong. I am seriously regretting shitting on Russia like we did and start thinking I should start looking for serious opportunities to do business there and maybe even move there.

You just have to have the strength Within and the wisdom to believe in yourself

But if we think rationally: some places will remain a lot more predictable and economically stable than others

Not to mention you need to be well connected to keep your affairs moving as with most of that side of the world

I'm surprised you are thinking of Russia frankly. The military expenditure is crowding all other industries in my casual observation... I assume you are thinking of civilian businesses.

In Russia you are of military age and the gov't has forced ethic minorities who have gone to Moscow to make money, into service on the front lines of Ukraine.

If you do business in Russia, you better not be competing with somebody there who makes a lot of money. The country is pretty corrupt, you might get shut down by bribed government officials or you will get a visit from some mafia guys who you don't want to meet. You need be well connected so you don't end up dead or paying the mob all your profits.

You don't need to keep expanding your business to the point where it takes over your whole life.
