America will never be trusted again after that comment. It's one thing to defeat a military but to threaten a whole civilisation is right up there with the holocaust. It's no good saying it's just a tactic to get a deal because that kind of talk goes way beyond acceptability.

It's Wednesday now and Trump has backed down (again). When you make an ultimate threat you've either got to carry it out or back track and look weak, Trump looks weak.

Here's the thing. Civilians simply sat on bridges and called out his bluff. Would any military officer really have followed orders to kill civilians sitting down?

There are normal and sane Iranian people who don’t like the Iranian regime. Shortly before the war started there was Iranian people protesting about the regime.  Donald Trump is a freaking loser.

In the sense that Iran does fund some terrorist organizations, it might, but not when someone like Trump is in office. He's making the rest of the world hate us, and that's not good. So, if we had a president that wasn't hated across the world, Iran no longer existing might make the world safer.
