How has women earning money changed attitudes and family life?

In my opinion there is a decent amount of change that has been observed in todays world about girls started to earn vs when it was highly concentrated in the hands of male figure.

Earlier their attitude was totally different they were confined to household works and were easy to ask for things and overall approachability scenario to them was good.

But if you see today when they got educated. I guess they have turned a whole lot mean as if nothing was done for them by the society. Should not forget that the patriarchy has given you this where you are today. Also there is this famous saying about women will always remember what good she did to you and what bad you did to her.

The post money earning scenario has changed the attitude so dramatically that no one can deny the fact was it always in the making? Was this behaviour of them earning money always there it was just the money that triggered it? So males were just self disrupting? What has happened today look around we used to have joint family one or two typical male figure earning and feeding all without any discrimination infact girls were treated better than boys in the family. much more caressed. but today it feels like backstabbed.

Marriages get broke easily. The attitudnal shift that has come. The culture degradation.

It all depends on the person for some people it causes extreme insecurity. Some men cannot handle a woman making more then he’s making (don’t get me wrong some me also prey on women with money) but they cannot handle it. Even though in my opinion if a woman has all these better options but she chooses you….. I would take that over being someone’s best choice so to speak. Obviously I want someone to genuinely want me but not the best house in a bad neighborhood situation if that makes sense. I digress.

Some women also feel extremely insecure if they’re making more money than a man. This can even happen later in a relationship where a woman takes a higher paying job or the man takes a lower one, etc.

While I don’t like the extreme of feminist women who hate men and can do it all without a man. It tends to be the women who need a man for money etc who tend to use men. It tends to be women who are more independent who make better partners. Not because they have money…. But because they aren’t using you. You know they would be fine without you but they chose to be with you. And that says more than someone being with me out of necessity.

A lot of the men who feel insecure by a woman being independent are men who secretly feel not capable of holding down a relationship (all situations are different) that’s why they need the control. Because they feel like if she had a choice she wouldn’t be with him and he’s probably right in many cases. These men get used to it where these women find better men and leave. Leave then for men who either have more money, status, etc….. or find someone with less but that she’s more genuinely attracted to. Either one is a massive blow to the ego.

Not all men are like that by any means just like not all women are. Some men would be surprised what a woman will do for him if she’s genuinely attracted. Genuine attraction goes a lot deeper than money or a job title. Genuine attraction is a deep bond and companionship with someone that’s almost unconditional there are certain things someone shouldn’t tolerate.

That’s why some men can date up and some cannot. Because they are attractive and/or know how to find the right women and screen out the wrong.

When i was a li'l brat in 1981, women- i mean my mommy- WORKED - so when i came home from school mommy was not home. changed family life that mommy used to take care of her own kids so changed that i was raised by strangers - teenage baby sitter. In usual family this is a loss and disadvantage. But if mommy is a bully- this was a few hours of calm before the storm!

It created a whole generation of day care kids. My wife stayed home for 11 years while our kids were little. We did not want our kids to be raised by strangers. Financially we struggled but I have no regrets.
