Should the US keep bombing Iran or push for a ceasefire now?

If I were Trump, I'd be bombing Oil Refineries and bridges and other production and logistics targets. I wouldn't have brokered a ceasefire with the Muslim terror state just yet. I still think a ceasefire is a bad idea, because we all know from past experience that Muslim nations break their ceasefire agreements immediately anyway.

I sure as hell hope Oil companies are not dumb enough to pay Iran's little extortionist "$1 per barrel" fee to transport oil that doesn't even belong to them through the Strait. This is exactly the sort of reason the USA should just keep bombing Iran for now. Again, calling a ceasefire is a bad idea.

The war objectives are complete with the exception of stopping Iran from pursuing a nuclear program. America could forcefully raid that location and occupy the area and remove the material, but if the new regime is committed to cooperation for the removal of the radioactive material, and a lasting agreement to not pursue nuclear weapons that is better for everyone. Negotiations for terms are set for Friday, so if Iran is willing to talk, then that's what America should do. If Iran just stall and don't come to an agreement, then we return right back to sending them back to the stone age and reduce their infrastructure to rubble, but they have an opportunity to do the right thing. That seems like the honorable thing to do. You never want to see a civilian population suffer more than necessary.

Looks like Iran choose the stall approach. So now their oil infrastructure will be permanently damaged from being shut in while the kill box that was planned earlier with the USS Tripoli goes into effect in the Strait of Hormuz. That will eventually bring Iran to a tipping point in the new operation leading them to attack our boats which will provoke an American response. :)

Bombing bridges and power plants violates the Geneva Convention. The problem for ships that are stuck right now is they can't get insurance to pass through if they don't pay the toll and even paying the toll isn't a guarantee they can get insurance to pass through.

No it does not. Anything that benefits enemy military objectives is a valid target even under Geneva Convention. You do not win wars by fighting enemy combatants. I thought you noobs would have figured that out from Afghanistan.

No, I searched and found the very line in the agreement, and bombing those targets is not a war crime. We've bombed power plants and water salination before in Gulf War 1 and other wars.
