Why do so many conservatives support Trump but wouldn’t hire him?

I'm conservative and loathe the far-left nuts who have taken over the Democratic Party, but these rich people who like Trump, would NEVER hire someone with his exact personality and behavior for a job at one of their companies or whatever.. sooo yeah, I don't get it.

Supporting an opinion without supporting a person is not that crazy. Trump is clearly incompetent and has never given any reason to see it differently.

That said if an incompetent person shares your view, they still share your view. Supporting that is not strange. Does not mean you want the incompetent working for or with you.

I don't know any conservatives who wouldn't hire Trump if they had the chance, but I've never heard this topic talked about and I don't believe anyone is talking about it. In any event, Trump doesn't want to be hired by anyone, I don't think he ever has been, he's always run his own businesses, so it's a ridiculous, baseless question.
