The Dems tried to hide Biden’s mental state. The debate showed everyone Biden wasn’t mentally capable to be president. The use of the autopen meant that the Dems didn’t need Biden to be in good shape, just alive. His staff would sign everything the left wanted signed into law. But once the world saw Biden wasn’t mentally well they just couldn’t run him as president. So the Dems pushed for Harris to run (NO PRIMARY) because they would do to her as they did to Biden. She would be president in name only. The staff would sign into law whatever the radical left wanted.


Keep in mind that leftist claim Trump is destroying democracy when they didn’t even primary Harris they just installed her. That’s not democracy!

The party decides who their candidate will be. They decided that Harris was their best chance. They were under no obligation to have Biden as their candidate.

There was probably a long term play also. Even though they knew Harris had almost no chance of winning, in the long term it might have been a better choice.

The party can't actually prevent someone from running. Anyone can run no matter what any of the parties say. If Biden really wanted to run, he could have, just not as the official Democrat candidate. If he had done so, I think he might have gotten more votes than Harris. As bad as Biden was in his state, Harris was even worse. She should never have been VP.
