With its history and current issues, is the USA really a great country?

Question

With all the bad history this country has, how the government is running things, one race believing that their skin color is superior to other races, horrible presidents, etc. Is the USA a great country?

I don't know if any country is truly "great". I don't think any country is 100% perfect. The U. S. has issues yes, and I shit on it, but honestly, hearing and seeing some of the things that are happening in Europe, Canada and other Anglo countries, the U. S. still isn't so bad.

But we don't think our skin color is superior. Well, some of us do, and even people from outside our race think that. But we think our culture, behavior and mindset is superior. And there IS a correlation. But other races think that too.

No, of course the United States is not a great country. It is a horrible country. It has arguably the worst war-mongering record of any country on the planet. It is currently being run by a mentally ill, child abusing, child molesting, convicted felon who can essentially do anything he wants because the Supreme Court and the Congress are so weak they refuse to oppose him. Does this sound like a great country to you?

In every way: America is " important , notable, and distinguished and  powerful  and large in size, area, stature, numbers of production,  industry , economy and population" in every way we see america greatness! Not to mention personal choice called liberty!  you mean to ask is it righteous. "all the bad history" was fixed. So America is a stronghold of morality in contrast to 150 u. n. Member country!

yes but it followed the same path as others into stupidity launched by greed and necessity to control everything that it cannot. it didn't take long to send it towards ruin.

it will take time but we recognize we are on the crazy train...

No, we are “Exceptional” only in our delusions about our greatness. We were founded on slavery and greed. We have a huge economy. We committed genocide against the native Americans. We have been racist from the start even though immigrants built the wealth of this country.

The USA is the greatest country in history. We have the highest standard of living, the best healthcare, good educational facilities, a record of achievement that no other country has come close to and freedoms that nobody else has. It i no wonder that everyone wants to live here.
