Every Democratic administration except for JFK and Carter has been pro-war, regardless of their rhetoric.
Loyal Democrats will support anything their party supports, just like loyal Republicans will support anything their party supports.

Very few people have a clue what the parties are up to. They just pick sides and cheer for their team.

I opposed the Vietnam War in high school and still oppose U. S. wars of aggression. U. S. wars aren't self defense. They are to maintain empire and monopolize global resources.

I have 1960s-70s liberal values - support for peace, love, open mindedness, tolerance, fairness and justice, liberty and freedom, distrust of authority, resentment of authoritarianism, and opposition to wars of aggression. I believe in live and let live, the Bill of Rights, and applying the principles set forth in the Declaration of Independence to all people.

What passes for liberalism these days does not reflect my values. Modern liberals are ignorant and loony. Conservatives aren't much better. Ideologues are sheep.

What happened to independent, unbiased research and reason? I guess the most easily accessed media did away with that by telling people what to think instead of giving them information with which they can form reasoned opinions.
