I absolutely cannot wait! I cannot wait for the transformation of the US back to normalcy. I am ready to rid the woke nonsense that is plaguing this nation and is a threat to our personal freedoms. I am excited about the new beginning!

The college president had sent out emails to all students and employees telling us there will be counselors available for everyone who is overwhelmed about the results of the election. It's gonna be fun.

you mean when I go to sign up for classes... the first thing I see on the web site won't be about "trans gender" teachers? like Yale had...
that be different kinda cool... - 1 y
@lightbulb27 There are a lot of different speakers that come to the college. 99% of them are liberals. I imagine ip President Trump himself said he would come to campus the administrators would try to prevent it.
- 1 y
agree, that's what shut down his last secretary of education... she got nowhere.
- 1 y
Are you serious about the college president sending out email saying there's counselors available for the election results? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? WTF? Really?

@DrPepper12 I am not making this up. Our tax dollars at work.

1 yIt's a shame I cannot select two options. The point is, I am not a US citizen, but I'm still expecting to see a takedown of the radical left. Even if it begins in the US, it might come to Poland at some point. At any rate, I thought I'd never set foot on US soil, since I'm a man, a. k. a. Public Enemy No. 1 for said radical left, but with President-elect Donald Trump, it might have become just a little bit more safe and probable.

Asker1 yI am quarter Polish. My dad is half Polish. My grandmother (now deceased) was 100% Polish. Polish is probably my largest ancestry makeup.

@msc545 Well, if You can do the fact-checking about the concentration camps (I'm actually somewhat surprised that You do realize they were not Polish camps, unlike many, especially on the left wing of global politics), You should do the same for President-elect Donald Trump. If there is a European dictator He could be compared to (since President-elect Donald Trump is not a dictator, He simply assumes the "tough guy" persona), it's the Spanish right-wing dictator, General Francisco Franco. Now, General Francisco Franco did His best to distance Himself and Spain itself from any global conflict, forget actually inciting any such conflict. Now of course, President-elect Donald Trump has much less leeway in this regard, since He is, after all, a ruler of a global superpower that is hopelessly tangled in the global geopolitics. However, He can still leverage the US power to disincentivise any global conflict, and unless both Russia and China want this kind of conflict, His will will become the global law. Then again, General Francisco Franco, just like President-elect Donald Trump, was a true godsend to His country, staving off the communist takeover of Spain for several decades, something the US citizens can only hope for President-elect Donald Trump to do for the US.
- 1 y
I don't know enough about Franco to validate or criticize your comparison. What I will tell you is that Trump has done nothing but make trouble since he came on the public scene in about 2010. He led an insurrection and invaded our Capital with his followers. Right now many of them are in prison for breaking a variety of laws. I cannot account for how it is that Trump managed to get elected this time but he did so we're going to have to put up with him. Nobody is really very happy about this, including many of the people who voted for him. He is not as you put it a godsend to our country.

Asker1 y@msc545 Dems have been largely in control for the past 12 out of 16 years. Ask yourself, have things really improved since then? I am 30 years old and cannot afford homeownership. I am broke, and I am struggling to find work in my industry (which is, surprisingly, tech) as I sit here unemployed at the moment. I see Mexicans and Guatamalans everywhere. I see more and more homeless walking the streets while reputable businesses close around me. Healthcare has went to the shitter.
- 1 y
@msc545, all Your statements are based on unproven left-wing claims. President-elect Donald Trump is a successful businessman, therefore He is absolutely not lacking proper judgement, impulse control or intellectual ability, and He is not suffering from any mental illness, since those would impair His business. He is not oversensitive, which has become the norm West-wide, and that's why He can come across as suffering from lack of empathy. However, that's precisely the quality that makes Him eligible for cleaning up the mess Democrats and global left-wing have made, since He will not feel any unnecessary remorse while doing the cleanup.
As for President-elect Donald Trump being a criminal, He was not yet sentenced, and the whole trial was pretty much a show trial to make Him give up on the elections against the Democrats, so I refuse to consider Him a criminal. - 1 y
He is not a successful businessman. He has been and is being sued repeatedly for not paying his bills, and he has had 7 bankruptcies so far. He is heavily in debt due to multiple court judgments against him. I am not going to argue about my clinical impressions of him since I do this for a living. I will simply say that I am an expert in this area, and I don't think you are.
He has not been sentenced, but he HAS been convicted about 34 times so far - and more to go. Convictions make him a criminal in the legal and social sense.
Is this really what you are happy about? - 1 y
@msc545 Regarding business, perfection is achieved through trial and error. If He's gone bankrupt 7 times and He's still going at it, and successfully, it bears the marks of a successful businessman for me. As for the bills, which I take are taxes in this context (I've only heard about Him having a problem with taxes), they are a known business impediment, especially at the rated the left wing tends to put them. Again, if He is through with all that and still standing, it bears the marks of a successful businessman for me.
Regarding the convictions, I have little interest in show trials, having been brought up in Poland, where show trials were a popular way of getting rid of particularly dangerous opponents used by the communists. At any rate, the Spanish General Francisco Franco was an actual insurgent and He was still the best thing that could happen to Spain at that time, so any supposed crimes President-elect Donald Trump allegedly committed are insubstantial in the discussion about whether He is the best that could happen to the USA at this point. - 1 y
They are not taxes - they are unpaid bills to contractors. He simply refused to pay many of them and dared them to sue him. He also has not paid many of his lawyers.
The crimes relate to things that he has not really denied he did and instead tried to argue that they were not really crimes. That did not go over well.
Asker1 yI can tell you personally, me and my parents had more money when Trump was in office. When Obama and Biden were in office, we were squeezed thin and had to be very frugal. Fuel prices and food prices are often up when dems are in office. Leftists often destroy the middle class, or at least come close to it.
I am just hoping the tech industry rebounds again. I can no longer work in healthcare or public safety due to previous healthcare license revocation and past criminal conviction (and they were just misdemeanors too, sadly). I am 30 and no longer wish to return to school for 4 years to pursue anything else. I am just praying the tech job market holds together, because I don't know what else I would want to (or can) do with my psychological disabilities.

Asker1 yWith what? Sticks, rocks, and your molotov cocktails?

Have You probably seen the "Wrath of Becky" movie and plan to replicate it? I'll just tell You this: real people are not this vulnerable to sadistic gags. Thus, one against many, You are the one who does not stand a chance. And since President-elect Donald Trump is going to have a strong security detail, You have a good chance of dying before You get to Him.
- 1 y
@Asker Trust me, I do not consider this to be an empty threat. Molotov cocktails will work for setting people's homes on fire, and having witnessed the BLM riots (albeit through the media) and having watched a certain torture and killing manual for the left wing that's better known as the "Wrath of Becky" slasher movie, I do believe the left wing is capable of really cruel and sadistic acts. The People of Goodwill in the US should really look out for any sings of psycho activity in their neighbourhoods.

1 yYou couldn't even define "woke", "radical left" or "normalcy". 🙄
04 Reply
Asker1 yFor me, "normalcy" is a time and state of society where political correctness, the sensitive and "snowflake" mentality, and coercion of speech and expression to be deemed "less offensive" wasn't running rampant. This would be a time where people took accountability and didn't complain about everything but took initiative to make things right. This was a time where trannies were actually frowned upon. This was a time where it was reasonable to expect freedom in one's lifestyle, choices, and pursuits without the expectation that someone else must accept and/or embrace it.
The radical left are those who push for extreme leftist ideologies, such as open borders, taxpayer funded abortion, increased government dependence, distribution of wealth, suppression of speech and expression deemed "offensive" to other cultures, and other social engineering initiatives
"Woke" is the ideologies and the coerced adherence to, that embraces identity politics and the promotion of otherwise-abnormal social initiatives, such as most modern DEI initiatives, the forced integration of trangenders into the organizations and private spaces of the opposite sex, etc...
Asker1 y... to add, this was a time where the workplace and schools weren't riddled with lgbtqrst... propaganda, where sexuality and race wasn't a topic shoved down our throats in the professional space, where kids could be kids and not exposed to gay shit
This was a time where children respected adults and their elders and where disciplined was carried out for bad behavior.
This was a time where kids could enjoy modern technology, but they were able to have a balance. For example, they could grow bored of playing video games and actually go outside to play, ride bikes, etc...
This was a time where people had manners and were courteous to others
Asker1 y... and that leads me to emphasize the word BALANCE. That is something we seem to neglect and stray away from. Being moderate in regards to social and economic policies.
