In this red vs blue button experiment, which would you choose and why?

Let’s say you’re teleported to a room that is empty save for one red button and one blue button. You are alone and no one can see you or hear you. You are told that you are part of an experiment and must press a button. All of humanity is doing this alongside you. If 50% of humanity presses the blue button, everyone lives. If 50% of humanity presses the red button, everyone who pressed blue will die. Which button do you press?

I assume I'm aware of the consequences, I have been told this right? In that case, I'll try to leave or escape the room. If I'm unable to leave or escape then I'm pressing the blue button, it's the only moral decision I can tolerate.
