Donald Trump clearly could not care less about rising energy costs or the state of the global economy. He is a billionaire that can afford anything, and he only cares about himself. Trump is only interested in serving other countries such as Israel and fattening his pockets at the expense of the American people as opposed to serving America first. As long as Trump ensures that he offsets his 2017 tax cuts with high tariffs that are ultimately passed on to the consumer at the checkout counter, he is satisfied. It is amazing how people can still support Donald Trump despite running an "America first" and affordability campaign regarding groceries and gasoline, and then completely pivoting on his promises by serving Israel and raising the prices of food and energy to high levels not seen since the peak of the pandemic.
