The last comedian who could consistently make me laugh was bill burr. I used to know all these hilarious people and I still do I guess but even I'm less funny then I remember being.

Are we all collectively just burnt out or what? I think people just don't have the energy to be unfiltered these days. It's like walking in a minefield.

Burr and Gervais are assholes. That's the secret ingredient to their success. People are so terrified of stepping out of their comfort zones, that they love comedians who don't give a flying fuck. They seem to live vicariously through the comedians. Comedians that are good, but don't worry what other people think about them.

Chelsea Handler and Nikki Glaser make me laugh sometimes. I think people have become so sensitive lately, it’s very easy to offend them. Often, it’s all about the delivery. It doesn't take much to make me laugh. I find humor in the most random things and places. I’m easily amused because I try not to take life too seriously.

Objectively, it's the opposite for me, online and offline. In terms of quantity and access, comedy is now everywhere, all over the internet. And it transfers to the real world, looking at how many events, amateur or pro, I can attend to in the city.

Subjectively, well, what's funny or not is subjective, so yeah, it's subjectively subjective to me...

I'm not saying the guy has never commented on something political but it usually in an interview and even then it's pretty rare.

I think the problem is that we're inundated in social commentary constantly, so the stuff just isn't that funny. And, the Step Brothers style of comedy doesn't feel innovative or fresh anymore.

The art of comedy is declining because everyone is so thin-skinned and wishy-washy over feelings nowadays. Most comedic legends of the past wouldn't stand a chance today with all the snowflakes and SJW's lurking about.
