I never understood the inciting violence framing on Jan 6th. I spent a lot of time looking into it. Twitter at the time actually took all of his posts down saying to stop and we want peace. Fight like hell is hardly a phrase to insight violence. Maxine waters has said much worse to her constituents, and it was never seen that way. I don’t like Trump, but that seemed like a load of crap. I really tried to see the other side, but I couldn’t bring myself to it.

It was probably 20 years ago. I had an uncle who met him a few times and said what a big ego he had., I was never a fan and I never watched his TV show. However, when he got into politics he talked about the same things i had been talking about for the last 20 years. Securing the borders, bringing manufacturing jobs back to America, lower taxes and a strong military. When he was president for the first term it was the first time I felt like I had real representation in Washington.

He’s a populist, not a republican. His character is contrary to what the Christian community paints him out to be. He repeatedly becomes spiteful and launches full blown attacks on those who oppose him or his initiatives. His attack on Jerome Powell for not lowing interest rates was my last straw. He violated our constitution with ice initiatives is an alarming way. I don’t like how we’re supporting Israel. I could go on. Immigration is an issue, but how that was executed was disastrous, hence why they reframed their initiatives entirely. Christy Noem lost credibility. They axed Greg Bovino. ICE agents were racially profiling, detention centers were inhumane and failed administratively, and they were exploiting the laws surrounding “administrative” warrants to step all over constitutional rights. These agents were poorly trained. That whole period was horrible man. This was heading in the direction of a private militia. Bad leadership all around. Trump likely didn’t expect it to go that direction, but it was under his leadership so it’s on him.

Talk to anybody in law enforcement and ask them if it’s an atrocity if somebody dies under their custody. That’s inexcusable. They rallied up 40k arrest between inauguration day and October. They scaled so fast with inadequate resources to be able to facilitate that. That’s bad leadership. They entered the country illegally, so will be dealt with legally. Putting them in overcrowded facilities and inhumane conditions to the extent of 40 deaths is not how our country does things. That’s some third-world country shit right there.
