It's nice when people are involved in local politics, such as stopping new data centers from being built, national politics are too big to do anything about. Massie losing his election shows that AIPAC runs our country and voting doesn't really matter. Hate to be black pilled but it's true.
MAGA dgaf about Trump breaking most of his campaign promises and starting a new war even though he's on video saying he was going to be a peace president, that Obama was weak, etc etc. They simply ignore all of the consistent hypocrisy.
When I was still living in Chicago, I'd loosely follow the local and state libs for entertainment purposes, but when you're in a state that hard core leftist, your only concerns are how you're going to get out of there and where you're going to go.
Yes, I watch news and sometimes podcast about geopolitics. Occasionally I watch comments of people I know they aren't some apparatchiks or biased and have clue what they are talking about.
However spending to much time for politics is useless and boring. At the end we go to elections just to vote for lesser evil, because there is never a credible option.
Yes. I follow local and international news and politics (to a certain degree). I think it's important to know what's going on in the world and who's responsible for it. People are often surprised when they hear about it because most people my age don't care about it.

At the local level I'm involved but at the (Australian) state level very little other than when anything goes wrong to say 'that's a labor gov't for you'.
Geopol is so intense at the moment that I'm not even keeping up at our federal level other than rejoicing that the labour gov't vote is down to 27% Yeah that is historically bad which is great.
You can substitute Democrat for Labor in the above to get the sense of the comments.
I used to be fanatical about watching the local news and keeping my TV on The Fox News Channel all day long, but now I don't watch it at all. I could care less!!
Good, most of it is lies and more lies.
Seldom listen to national news, but do listen to local news every morning and most evenings. Do follow pretty much all of the politics as it can affect all of us in some way.
I follow pretty much mainly local stuff , certainly here and when in Australia, it's extremely interesting and far less depressing..
no. i just check about democratic promises that they never intended to do in NYC. free bus. cheap food... by 2030!
I do keep up with the word... but, from different and better, more accurate, non-biased sources...
I watched the local news every night but I’m getting tired of seeing bad reports. I mostly want to follow the sports weather and activities in Miami not hear about somebody being shot or attacked or robbed.
Local, state, federal, European and world news, yes. :-)
I follow local news. There is a radio station in the next town that has a very good news department and I read a local newspaper.
I mostly focus on a national and more so international level because that interests me more.
No, I haven't watched t. v. in 6 years or better.
New yes, politics no. I don't even know who my town's mayor is
I follow a local news yes, just to know about what's happening here and around the world!
News and politics are fake and gay. I couldn't care less.
Mostly just local news
Less than I should.
not that much
Both, minimally
Somewhat, more news.
Not really.
