Probably not. People by the thousands report this kind of thing. I doubt it would matter if aliens gave tours and space ship rides to groups of UFO nuts. Once it was over they could talk about it and some people would believe them and some would not no matter how convincing they were. It would be just another UFO story. This is why if there were aliens visiting earth the government wouldn't have to cover it up. There just isn't much interest. It's not like aliens are going to open an embassy. There aren't any stories of them having that much interest in earth.

It sounded fun in the 90s, but in 2026? With whistle blowers, mass surveillance, and people tracking flight paths of Elon jets? I wouldn't want to be any government trying to hide that, much too stressful to manage.
