I vote every election. It came close to making a difference and that party is now in power with a coalition although they barely didn't win. But they did partner with the winners.
Now I will judge the policy, already stuff is happening I am not agreeing with but they are forced to do it by the national gov so I can't fully fault them for it.
But if they do things I truly disagree with to the point I feel like my vote didn't matter then I will never vote for them again.
I am a voter who gives you one chance, any party doing things against the citizens I never vote for no matter what happens. Leaves very few parties that I even consider.
I left home around the time I was old enough to vote so I never had to do it.
I suppose the closest thing would be class representative elections. Hardly a huge thing. But I once ran the campaign of my friend and ended up getting him elected. It was fun.

We are building a new school in town and there was a ballot question about how it would be paid for. The election was 3 weeks ago. They purposely do it on a Saturday so most people are too busy to vote and the people that work for the town and their families all vote. I was working in my yard and was all dirty and sweaty but I got in my truck and went down and voted.
The votes ALWASE make the diferance and convincing people to do so even more. Last time was in 2024 and 2025. I alwase voted from the moment i get legal. Is my right and my country, is the only time when the governament ask the people what they want, is the vote will had not mather will had cancel the right, just like in Russia, Belarus, N. Korea, China and other dictatorships!
Probably when I was still living under the delusion that democracy is actually a fair system I had influence on. But we all know votes never change anything cause policies are decided by self serving "representants" paid by lobbyists, not voters. So voting is pointless.
I don't think it made a difference in terms of who got selected as President but rather sends a message to the Democrat party that I hate them and for what they stand for.
a. November 2024. b. in new york it 'made a difference' as it showed the gap narrowed and my vote helped narrow the gap. in a few days a republican primary in new york. soon.

Last presidential election. I knew it made no difference, you had the main choices of a child rapist, a child sniffing dementia patient and a tone deaf token black woman.

10 days ago in the California primary election. I very carefully voted for every Democrat on the ballot and consciously and deliberately ignored every Republican. I will continue to do that now.

Presidential election of 2024.

I voted last year for conservatives. Ironically, I don't think voting matters much in this corrupt government.
The last time I casted a vote was For Donald Trump. The Democrats swore he was Hitler, but they fucking lied.

We had an election last year, so that's when I last voted.
Last month for primary. Prior to that election of the president of the United States of America.
Monday. Not in a primary or special election or anything. I sit on a couple of community Boards
Some time in the mid 80's I think
Reason: to not vote is a vote in itself.
I basically question any type of "establishment"
