I find this really hard to believe. President Trump is 79 years old and his only exercise is swinging a golf club. Military and first responders are mostly Republicans as well as blue collar workers. I would not want to fight any of them.

While not exactly important, and the percentage is actually around 35%, I suppose it does show how much or little we glorify someone and how realistic our worldview is.

To be real. Old people do normally have decent grip strength and could often throw a punch, although at 80 that punch even if it connects is more likely to hurt you than the person it hit. Old people are not by neccessity weak, recovery just takes much longer and is sometimes not possible.

While it is pretty outlandish to think he could beat any remotely normal 20-50 year old in a fistfight I do think if we allowed gripping he has a chance against some. He's a chonky guy after all.

In truth you could comfortably walk away from him for 20 minutes and wait for him to fall down on his own. I rather doubt he is capable or jogging more than in very small bursts.

I can see him winning a fight or two. Although I can not think of a single man I know below 65 who could reasonably lose that. But they do exist.
