I doubt it. They can try of course, but large parts of the United States don't react too well to extremists of any kind. The uneducated fell for the shrieking of the MAGA howler monkeys and elected them into various positions, only to get... nothing back. It has been the least productive congress in decades because of that but I see signs for the system correcting itself.
