Please don't approach the question ideologically. Maybe it's a new generation thing, but these people are very different from the traditional stereotype of the serious politician. They make jokes, enjoy arguing, make controversial statements, speak in a harsh and direct way, and sometimes even insult people. They can be quite entertaining.

In that sense, they are very different from someone like Hitler.

Nope. Too much lying and insults. Independent of your political direction I think that you should treat people with respect. You can be direct and make jokes without being an asshole.

Nah I am fine with night show sequel comedy but feel there is a level of professionalism that is needed, and I feel this about both sides. I miss the Romney Obama days of respect even through disagreement.
