Asker4 mo@abbycado I was told that the price has gone down a dollar per gallon since last month.

@Staximus I'm not complaining about the price of gas. And my Kia Soul is the best car that I've ever owned. Too bad Kia stopped making "hamster cars".

@Staximus LOL...
I maintain a maintenance log on my car so, in case I sell it, the buyer has a complete record of everything I did to it. The log doesn't contain things like where I went and when, but it does contain fill-ups, oil changes, other maintenance, car washes, new tires, etc. An important reason why I record the fill-ups is to determine my gas mileage. After all, if you have a significant negative change in gas mileage, you likely have an issue.
Meanwhile, kudos for the nuclear reactor verbiage.
And, believe it or not, what you wrote likely is documented in a nuclear reactor plant log and I wouldn't be surprised if that was requiremed by the NRC.
3.1K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I was going to convert price to litres to gallon but the I remember the US gallon is different to the Imperial gallon. That seems to troublesome... so I have given up answering your question.

Asker4 mo@ravvid I understand

Easy thing to remember: 1 US gallon = 231 cubic inches, so it is easy to convert.
1 milliliter = 1 cubic centimeter, so 1 liter = 1000 cubic centimeters.
1 inch = 2.54 centimeters, so 1 cubic inch = (2.54)^3 = 16.387064 cubic centimeters.
So, 1 US gallon = 231 cubic inches * 16.387064 cubic centimeters / cubic inch = 3785.411784 cubic centimeters...
= 3785.411784 milliliters
= 3.785411784 liters.
So, there you go:
1 US gallon = 3.785411784 liters
Ironically, an imperial gallon, which is almost exactly 1.2 US gallons, is defined in a similar way that the liter was...
1 liter was the capacity of 1 kg of water at a certain temperature and pressure.
1 imperial gallon is the capacity of 10 avoirdupois pounds of water at a certain temperature and pressure. - 4 mo

I think you mean precious metal. That, I cannot say.
====
In the U. S. precious metals industry, the primary weight measurement is the troy ounce (oz t), which is heavier than a standard (avoirdupois) ounce. A troy ounce equals 31.1035 grams, whereas a standard ounce equals about 28.35 grams.
Precious metals are measured using a few specific units, outlined below:
Troy Ounce (oz t):
The global and U. S. standard for pricing and weighing bullion, coins, and bars (e. g., gold, silver, platinum).
Grams: Increasingly common for smaller investments, fractional bullion bars, and jewelry.
Kilograms (kg): Used for bulk trading and large, institutional investments. (One kilogram equals approximately 32.15 oz t).
Pennyweight (dwt): An older unit traditionally used in the American jewelry trade. There are 24 grains in a pennyweight, and 20 pennyweights in one troy ounce.
Troy Pound: Composed of 12 troy ounces. (Note: This is lighter than a standard avoirdupois pound, which has 16 standard ounces). - 4 mo
@abc3643 I did mean precious :)
It is amusing to me that there is a parallel system of pounds and ounces. The British pound was originally based on a troy pound of silver.
All the hobbyist prospectors I know weigh the nuggets they find in grams.
Every few years someone finds a kilogram sized nugget and every gets a little gold fever.
About $4.50, most is state tax. The national average is currently $4.16 per gal. Gas has actually gone down $.42 per gal in the last 30 days, believe it or that was reported by "Liberal" NBC.
10 Reply6.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. We have a high gasoline tax, so it's close to $6/gallon. Fortunately, we don't use much gas. Our hybrid CR-V gets 32mpg. We drive about 5,000 miles per year and most of that is on road trips.
