How is working life in US?

How is average working hours in US weekly?

Do you feel overwhelmed when you were working too much? Or Is there no problem with the working life?

I think a balance it’s important if you have a family. The best part is that people can choose what is best for themselves. Work more, make more or work less, own less, but enjoy family. I choose family.

Me too. My concern is if I move to the US ı couldnt be happy if ı work so hard.

Because ı want to have my own time to do things that as a hobby. Or family time or cooking or to rest. I dont want to work so much. This is my concern. I want to have a free time in weekends... Have travel. To see new places. Or a picnic with my family and or kids

Ah yes, the old saying goes, “Time and no money or money and no time.” We all have to prioritize those things.

Those things are relative. Do we even have sufficient amounts of time and money? Compared to what? You may have to live a more modest lifestyle than you want to if you feel you need more time.

I had jobs where I worked a lot and did not have vacations or sick days. Now i am mostly retired and just work as much as I want to. I think my kids have it a lot better than I ever did. They seem to have a lot more time off than I ever did.

Were you happy when you work too hard? Do you have any regrets that like I wish I have work less?

I really had no choice. I had a family to support and did not have a college degree. I worked a shitty sales job and worked all the time. I was miserable and at times if a bus hopped the curb where I was walking I probably would not have jumped out of the way.

Waow I am sorry to hear that sir. I suppose that things were different in Europe. People work less with better state support.

Pretty good. If you work hard here in America you get paid. Back in the UK you get peanuts and are taxed so much you'd be better off unemployed

Absolutely. In the uk the transport infrastructure is messed up so you might be travelling 3hours each way to work

People generally happy with their job? The where I live, country, people generally not happy with their job and it borns unhappy people. The situation isn't like this in US? Is it?

With over 300 million people living in the United States, can’t answer that.

I can say the place I work, just about everyone is happy to work here. We all have our days, but it is a good place to work.
