California and new york are great states, great places to live if youve serious money but they aren't good places to live for the working & middle class man. Cost of living, ownership and taxes is too high.

Texas and Florida have no state income taxes and they have Republican leadership. They cooperate with ICE and support our president.

@strateguy632 new York is the canary in the coal mine. All the big financial companies have either already left or have one foot out the door. Other businesses will follow along with all thr taxpayers workers. Good luck after that. If people think the collapse of Detroit was something , this will be of epic proportions

As for me I don't care the state politics as I don't plan to live my life worried politics 24/7.

I have lived in Texas and FL and I like both but the beaches are better in FL and so is the weather.
