Are people more outraged by crimes against white babies than others?

The top two crimes that have caused global outrage due to the nature of it were James Bulger and Baby Preston.

One was shy of turning 3 soon and Baby Preston was 13 months old. I've noticed both of those children have fair skin and recessive genes. Both were indeed gorgeous, doll-like infants.

No offense but are many people even bias (have preferences) with crimes done against babies and toddlers. Is it only me noticing this?

The other horrific crimes done to Indigenous, tanned babies, Asian or black ones don't get that level of attention and outrage. If Baby Preston were a smiling, brown-skinned baby with black hair, I'm guessing he wouldn't get that much attention. They were equally horrific. All of them were also precious baby. I think all babies and toddlers are precious beings that deserve love.

Many people focus on the beauty of that specific baby with light hair and blue eyes than of the fact that it was a horrific crimes and even if that baby was black, it's still a precious baby that never deserved that either

People get more outraged by crimes against those who are helpless, like kids, animals. As for the whole race part, that probably depends on the location.

Yes they do get outrage but other non-white babies get less attention.
I've read comments on FB and other social medias about others focusing on the physical aspects of the baby when they were white.
My reaction would be the same, exact outrage regardless of the kid's race.

Yes people will still get outrage on the nature of the crime but whenever it's a fair-skinned baby, some commented on his physical features more. I don't see too much comments on a baby or toddler's physical features when they're non-whites.

"He had beautiful blond hair and blue eyes".
I once replied back to such person and told him "Does it matter what the baby's color was, the crime was horrific".

Even social experiments done with dolls show preferences too. They tested a light and darker dolls on kids and many went for the white doll. No one taught them that. Don't believe me, go to see that experiment on videos and it's there.

That is what my post is about but many people appear to be more focused on how horrible things were done to a gorgeous white baby with blonda or red hair and blue eyes rather than the crimen done on a precious baby, regardless of skin color.
Other non-white babies that got murdered don't ever get that specific level of attention. Isn't that bias?

Yes, but not the bias you might think. Crime on non white babies is popularized to create division between groups of people. That is done by the mass media. They don't care about white children.
