If "Democratic Socialists" are really pro immigrant as they claim to be, why are they pushing socialism and communism on Americans?

What is the LAST thing an immigrant, legal or illegal, would want to hear after giving up everything and risking their lives to flee to the unmatched freedom and prosperity of America from the destitution, slavery and despair of the socialist and communist country they are running away from?

Could it be what the "Democratic Socialists" are pushing? Turning America into the same socialist/communist hell hole they just escaped?

How can they be pushing the two most failed and oppressive government systems in human history and at the same time say they are pro immigrant?

More like reinventing the flat tire.

History is littered with the failures of socialist and communist states. In one of several recent ones, people in Venezuela, a place that Democrats were touting as a great example of the success of socialism just a decade or so ago, people were eating pigeons in the parks after they ran out of zoo animals. In Communist China under Mao people were eating their dead neighbors who died of starvation. 500 million people lost their lives to Chinese communism in the last 75 years. These two forms of government have been proven failures so many times that only the most ignorant of history would ever support them.
