Sometimes, I wonder what was done to these people or what the circumstances of their childhood and early life were to make them into such hideous sadists. If you think they are not really sadists, watch carefully the responses to this post.

They were raised that way, and then their communities suffered economic upheaval from globalization and automation. The well-paying blue collar jobs were gone. The talented young people left, and the town was hollowed out. So the middle-aged man who had a secure job paying a living wage, who had a place in the community, in their church, maybe as a volunteer fireman or in a club like the Elks or Lions, suddenly was alone wondering how to continue to have a meaningful life.

Anything is possible with humans. We can justify anything. I've seen such people be really pig headed, but I don't think it is just conservatives. Realize conservatives are human and have their own individual human flaws and path.

It isn't just one side though, both could point out how others are cruel.

I noticed humans can justify anything and that it makes "bad" results, ok. It may even make them feel good. I could give examples. Then when you get a whole "political movement", it can really stretch wrong direction. Seen that on both sides in extremes... Hitler, pol pot, mao... were they right or left though?

i don't think Jesus, to use the religious foundation of conservatives, would act 20% of what the right does. But maybe some of it.

That said, I know of some exceptional conservative people, that give their all, are not selfish, put their lifes energy into heping and caring for others, in their way. I think the word "conservative" may be "overloaded".

I think to some extent, we all suck really bad and most don't have the proper measuring stick to quantify it... from a Godly perspective that is.

Its like my son who is 15 and he was very liberal and woke and very non conservative. He used to tell my views were fascist, sexust and racist.

This was until a black boy at his school accused him of racially abusive towards him. The school suspended him, his friends ostracised him, his girlfriend broke up with him, his female teachers said they wouldn't teach him if he came back, the black boys family were calling him and ux out on Facebook, he had to attend a bullshit diversity workshop and was interviewed by the police who were considering charging him and they were all putting pressure on him to admit it but he wouldn't.

Anyway luckily enough I spotted the time and date it was supposed to have happened which was just b4 lunch time. His mother had picked him up from school 2 hours before for a dentist appointment. They had to drop it and the black boy got off scot free, though I posted all the details on fbook which police, the school and the black boy's family didn't like.

My son understands what I was talking about now. Completely dropped the left wing indoctrination from his teachers.

The Law of Unintended consequences hit Liberal policies hardest and most of them require large expenditures which are not sustainable. So I would see Liberals as being cruel monsters.

Look at the gender policies which result in XY people playing against XX folk. An XX person has permanent injuries due to being hit by a volleyball. Then there are all the XYs who take trophies & scholarships from XX's.

Some of my best friends in high school were conservative. The interesting thing is that most conservatives do not embrace the whole platform of conservativism. The platform is pretty bad in its entirety, but it has good points that people can support and claim to be conservative without embracing the whole platform. For liberals most embrace the whole platform because the whole platform isn't nearly as heinous as the entire conservative platform.

The Clinton budget came with modest republican support while others opposed policies that even republicans had proposed in previous years.
