Why do so many boomers hold such strong prejudices against Indians?

I was talking to my dad who is 67. He's not very fond of Mexicans, Indians, or black people. I always assumed it was because of a cultural difference but that can't be all it is. So I work at mcdonalds. I told my dad that I've interacted with a lot of people from India. In a very depressing tone, he was like "yeah... because they're taking over this country..." i didn't ask why he seemed to be so negative torwards them, so i just went on to say that I've met a lot of people from the UK, and Russia. He was like "oh! Cool!" He, and my mother who is also in her 60s, become so enraged when mexicans speak Spanish. Like when my mom calls customer support or something, and it's like "press 1 for Spanish" she's like "boy that pisses me off" and she's in a bad mood for like several minutes. Where tf does this attitude come from? I have a hard time tolerating them for this reason.
