Why do Europeans and white people think negatively about Indians?

I’m not white nor european but live in a country with loads of indians. The cultural shock is huge. Indians move to other countries in pursue of a better life and that’s completely acceptable what I find unacceptable is that they do not educate themselves enough about the culture in those countries. I don’t want to come of as disrespectful but You cannot move to a country and simply disrespect other people’s cultures and act as if you’re still in India or expect people to adapt to you, you are the outsider you should be the one making the effort to learn what is right and what is wrong.

I dont think negatively but I am wary knowing there seems to be a big difference between what is appropriate behaviors for your country and western countries especially towards women

We don’t. I had many nice Indian colleagues I worked with over the years. We just don’t want your societal, political and ecological problems in our countries.

Because the area where they live in majority become very degraded and dirty.
Criminality rise so we get a more dominant feeling of insecurity and fear.

The ones I went to school with and have worked with were rude and smelly. Western media also portrays the gangs of rapists rampant in certain parts of India.
