Will modern meme ‘brainrot’ harm the next generation socially and in school?

Brain rot is becoming extremely controversial with memes like 6-7, skidibi, and many other questionable things. My grandparents thought Rugrats and SpongeBob were brainrot back in the day , but now I think modern media is much worse.

Oh my goodness, people always complaining about the younger generations.

I remember boomers complaining about the millennials 24/7. Then they complain about Gen Z saying "we raised the millennials and they turned out alright. What's wrong with gen z? There gen x kids." it's so annoying. Give them a chance for christ shakes.

A lot of times the "these kids can't read because of brain rot" are usually the spoiled rich kids and don't invest into their kids.

If you see the Asians, those kids can read. You see Black people are getting ahead left in right. It's mostly lazy rich kids that the brain rot is effecting.

They are born with all the advantages and couldn't get ahead and feel humiliated that they have to depend on people who had nothing to get the job done. That's why all the Asians are becoming doctors.

Remember them saying how bad video games were? Now there are studies that show the benefits of gaming such as spacial awareness and improve cognitive function.

It's not as good as reading, but at least it has some engagement and you're not just sitting there doing nothing.

I'm really tempted to think that things look more idiotic but I also suspect that each generation must have thought that about the next one.

social media generates habits of reading short messages. so reading a 'whole page of text' or as it is called here 'wall of text' on gag, is unbearable to youth. get me those picture books for adults?
