Lazy people hate cats. Relationships with cats are more difficult to build than with dogs; so it require more effort.

Some people like to divide themselves into being a cat person or a dog person as though they were picking a sporting team. I don't understand why anyone would dislike a social animal so I like both.

I used to only be a dog person. But after the passing of my two boys I have grown a huge appreciation for animals in general.

As a result I recently bought a toyger, and pick her up from the breeder in early August

They probably had bad experiences with cats. For me is dogs, I don't trust them after a huge dog jumped on me when I was two/three years old.

They've never been loved by one. Dogs are indscriminate. A dog will be loyal to just about anyone. You have to be CHOSEN by a cat. And i get how some people would be salty about being rejected by a cat.😆

Dogs are obsequious, cats are far more independent and self-reliant. Many people keep pets for the attention and entertainment the pet can deliver, and dogs are far more suitable for that.
