Yes. I was homeless for a while in my early twenties. I wasn’t really flat broke. I just couldn’t afford a deposit plus first month’s rent, and nobody who could help me out would help me. So i spent some time working two jobs and sleeping in my car. I didn’t eat much and i would sneak showers at one job that had full locker rooms for employees. I was just a temp, but the in-house guys didn’t seem to care. I haven’t been homeless since, but i have only owned SUVs since that experience. A tiny voice in the back of my mind is always saying how much easier it would be to sleep in the cargo space of an SUV than it was to sleep in the backseat of a Buick. 😂😂😂

When I was younger I lived $ 500 a year over the poverty line but even though it was challenging at times I always had food and shelter.

No. But when I was younger we didn’t have much money and I barely remember a time my parents credit card didn’t work and we didn’t have money for gas to get home.

Grew up "homeless" we ate out of cans and lived along the road in broken down travel trailers.

I've been homeless several times. But slept out in the woods only one night. I stayed with my sister 3 different times.
