No not really. They can sound like that because they don't want you to feel confident or get too cocky, so they try to shirk you down and talk to you like you're a baby.

The women like that usually are miserable and don't have any kids or refuse to have them, so they look for a place holder.

Like the ones that call themselves a "pet mom" who treat their pets like. the baby.

Or they think you are an insecure man they will talk down to you and treat you like you're dummy mostly to make you feel small, so they can treat you like an idiot.
