Many men are hyper logical and many women are hyper illogical due to schooling. In the wilderness there's very little gap of this sort. Yes, hormones and biology makes an impact but schooling breaks our natural instincts off, and then hormones make a far greater difference than when our non hormonal instincts were intact. In other words, the hyper logical and hyper emotional thinking are survival modes kicking in when we are not allowed to just relax. ㅤ

Very interesting and I mostly agree. The one part that I don't think is quite as rigid though is the part about schooling breaking natural instincts. I do think it can create confusion when natural instincts conflict with schooling. But more often than not I think natural instincts prevail (which is a good thing or we probably wouldn't be here to discuss it). In short wishing things were a certain way doesn't make them so. You can't fool mother nature.

Hormones and gender change how we react to stress, but schooling creates chronic stress. Through trauma. If you put a monkey into a school it will get traumatized. And then jump out of it and act crazy for hours to discharge the pain and move on. As human we first of all don't discharge our stuff, and secondly if we ever do we usually don't grieve the actual root cause because it is taboo. For example. A woman had an alcoholic father. He punished her for complaining about him. So she built a taboo blindspot for his shit. His shit is "normal" in her subconscious. As we all know such girls are attracted to alcoholics. And then blame the boyfriend, complain to the therapist about the traumas the boyfriend had caused... never the fatber because that is too frightening for her plus therapists often say "he's decades in the past, move on, let's address your current issues..."

The same way it is with schooling. We do get traumatized merely by being trained like puppies to ask for permission to stand up from our desks. But nobody blames schooling. We just blame our jobs, and as such the trauma, no matter how small, never goes away without the grief and the chronic stress persists. Of course, the age segregation, the separation from family, the being quantified and graded and not getting 100% no matter how good you tried, and so much more that is traumatic to children even though as an adult you think it is no big deal. All that matters is the child's nervous system and suppressed grief.

That's what i meant. The constant surveillance, then telling you that your flow-state doesn't matter and you must immediately drop your task after the 45 minute change of subject, no matter how close you are to finishing. Overall a "what to think" not "how to think" system that doesn't make us dumb, but traumatizes us.
