I met an Asian American girl and she told me that America is full of losers. Why does she say that?

That's how Americans are viewed around the world now. More and more Americans are leaving the US and it's no longer a destination for legal immigration. I live in SE Asia and there's 5 high rises in my complex and it's full of Americans and they all confirm that. Most people I talk to by the pool have lived in the US at one point and won't go back even though that's where all of them make their money. For context, I live in a luxury resort type complex that caters to wealthy foreigners and our parking garage is full of BMWs, Mercedes and other high end vehicles. Ten years ago, I used to export building materials to tax havens in the Caribbean for Americans moving there. People with money have been leaving the US for a while.

You're referring to expats. Who make their money in the U. S. and then move to where the exchange rate is in their favor. It's an intelligent decision, but to blast the country that afforded them the ability to do so is a bit, well... shitty.

Asian American girls with parents who grew up in Asian countries are often very superficial and only judge people on status, financial and material success, and level of career prestige. It’s not everyone’s goal in life to be rich, famous, or to impress others with superficial bullshit.

There are some losers here like anywhere in the world. But a lot of productive people too. I mean a lot of highly used products were invented here, along with other countries. What I will say is that you can find the best of the best and the worst of the worst here, while more people are just average and pursue their own goals. It’s the third most populated country in the world after all, you’re bound to get a bit of everything.
