If they had better reasoning than hers, i’d be open to it.
The problem is that her opinions clearly characterize someone who hates western civilization in its entirety; except of course our welcoming traditions of “equality” that allow her to thrive here and repeatedly attack our ways of life. I definitely wouldn’t vote for her.


However, i hate Christmas and i think i’d make a fine public servant. I have always hated Christmas. As a child because the holiday overshadowed my birthday, and ultimately me. The ONE day a year every child should feel special was stolen from me by a fake holiday. News flash: Jesus wasn’t born anywhere near December 25th. This is an incontrovertible fact. Early Christians chose December 25th, and the exact reason is up for debate. There are two prevailing theories and they’re both fairly sound.
Even as an adult, i got over the ME part of my objections and became all too familiar with the revolting level of consumerism and fake “good will”. If you can’t be kind and loving to strangers all year, what is the point of faking it for a couple weeks in December? If Jesus is the reason for the season, then why did you pay $75 to put a Christmas tree in your front window?
It’s all phony baloney nonsense, and i have been over it for decades.
But i don’t hate America, or people who celebrate Christmas. I even celebrate Christmas, because my closest relatives and friends do. And that’s what good people do. They support their family and friends, even when it doesn’t necessarily suit them personally.
In short, this country has bigger fish to fry than people’s celebration of holidays or their refusal to do so. Show me how they think and talk about our country and the “American ways of life”, and only then can i tell you if i would vote for them.
