If the the voting rolls, mail ballots are clean, and there is no election fraud or cheating, then why are democrats so against the save America Act?

Because we should be making voting as accessible, easy, and monetarily free as possible for our citizens. There’s absolutely no significant voter fraud problem to speak of in the first place, so this is a solution in search of a problem, and thusly, making voting more difficult in any way is pointless and ill-advised.

The entire voter fraud thing is a conspiracy theory Trump came up with to deal with his own psychological narcissistic injury from losing the 2020 election. All the hubbub we’ve heard about it from official investigations to media coverage to social media rants to is all an offshoot of that. None of it is valid; it’s complete dishonest and disingenuous.

The Russian collusion issue was pertaining to election INTERFERENCE, but not election fraud. To my knowledge there was never any attempt to change anything with the actual BALLOTS, which is the crux of the issue here. The Russia issue was more about alleged influence on the electorate. But there was nothing where Russia even allegedly defrauded the vote in some way. It was about hacking into our voter databases for info, and spreading disinformation about Clinton to influence public opinion. But that is a completely separate issue from what Trump is alleging was being done in 2020, 2024, and in upcoming elections.

The bottom line is that Trump and Republicans in general have fallen flat on their faces when given complete control, and the current dumpster fire we’re all witnessing is just a showcase for the American people of “what Conservative leadership looks like”, a lesson that will hopefully at least last the rest of my life time. The whole thing has been an obvious, abject failure on almost every front, with no lefties you can blame it on. We’re watching the collapse of a movement in real time. MAGA is hemorrhaging support. I just tapped back in after being gone since last fall, and even on here, other than a few remaining flag-bearers who are committed to going down with the ship. Nine months ago was just nonstop MAGA glazing on here. What happened? Where’d everyone go?

Most people are jumping ship, unless they can’t get some form of bigotry they hold legalized elsewhere, and those are the ones hanging on for dear life.
