It's a nationwide shortage that's slightly improved over last year (11%), but is still in short supply. My area was doing ok.
The local school bus company is always advertising for drivers. Maybe the kids drive them crazy.

I have the license and used to do that for work. I even won a bus rodeo my first year driving (skills and knowledge competition), but the state where I live now only offers it as part time work so they pay no benefits. I don't do that job in the state I am in now for that reason. There are shortages for two reasons. The first reason is because they often don't want to combine it with grounds, maintenance, or custodial work so someone can work full time and earn benefits. The second reason is because too many people have DUIs on their driving record and can't qualify for that type of license.
There’s nothing in the news about that but we had two power outages today and I don’t like that knocking the air-conditioning out and my refrigerator is not cooling. And it’s a nice day out today
They don’t need any more bus drivers around here
We aren’t in our county.
My state in general does
Maybe. it's a really shitty job.
