Neither is easy to hide.

If you are genuinely poor, the world is a different place for you. Chances are you have a life history of people letting you down, of being taken advantage of, you feel your choices are limited, every time you go the supermarket its a struggle just to afford enough to get by week to week. Maybe you are worried about losing your job, maybe you are worried about a violent ex, maybe you are tired of strangers looking down on you.

If you have enough money, the world is light and easy.

That difference permeates every situation a person is in. From job interviews, college applications, investment in romantic connections.
