AIDS, polio, smallpox, bubonic plage, 3rd degree brins, 4th degree burns, beung burt alive, being drawn and quarters, being gelded, being dismembered, fighting to the pain, being crucified, being buried alive, having honey smearfled on your head and burying the rest of you (ants start to eat you alive), etc. Yeah I could run out the characters count for several posts and still have more. They are a lot of things worse than cancer.

I don't know about worse but we have cures for some cancers at this point.

• ALS and Parkinson's is a death sentence where your mind is trapped inside a slowly degenerating body and there is no cure.
• Alzheimer's and dementia is a degenerating consciousness inside an otherwise healthy body. Are you still you at some point? No cure for either at this point.

Yes. I think ALS is worse. Your body just gives up and you are trapped in a motionless body for years while your mind stays sharp.
