Is it coincidence that the biggest drops in murder and violent crime in history happened immediately after President Trump secured the border in 2025?

After hearing "The border is secure." over and over again from the last administration Democrats, then finally hearing "Okay Okay, yes there is a border crisis! But nothing can be done about it because it has to be fixed by Congress passing a new law." for years, President Trump sealed the border within literally a month or two of taking office in early 2025. And he sent ICE out to clean up by deporting illegals starting with the worst of the worst violent barbarians (while the Democrats fought tooth and nail to try to stop them from removing these subhumans).

Suddenly, the rates of violent crime started a freefall in the fastest decline ever recorded and now have reached the lowest levels ever recorded.

Is this just some kind of cosmic coincidence? Why isn't the media making this connection and saying that we have no idea why this is happening?

I’ve never been totally sure why the Democrat party loves chaos so much. Of course when crime is rampant blue cities and blue states get funding from the federal government. So is it just about the money? The one thing that is obvious is that the Democrat party doesn’t care about the American people who get harmed by the increase in crime.
And it’s not just crime from illegals, it’s no cash bail, and it’s criminals with 14 prior arrests out on the streets until they murder someone. Nothing the democrats do is to make it safer for the American citizens.
And any leftist here want to argue that’s fine, but before you do name one thing that the democrats have done to make the American people safer. Just one.

Creating chaos to overturn government and install dictatorship is an age-old tactic and has been used extensively by those trying to install a communist regime or other forms of dictatorship. The more chaos, the more they can get away with behind the scenes because the public is severely distracted. The more chaos the more division among the people making them easier to dominate.

The funniest thing was when Kamala lost to Trump in 2024 Kamala had 75 million votes and Trump 77 million. The left were wondering what happened to the other 6 million that voted for Biden. He got an amazing 81 million votes, even more than Obama. Joe must have been really loved by the leftists. Still where were those voters for Kamala? Even some on the left felt those 6 million were not real voters.

I will never forget going to sleep on election night 2020 sleeping soundly after looking at the stats knowing that Trump won handily, only to wake up to learn Biden beat him. I've followed every presidential election since the early 80s when my sibling was an advisor to President Reagan, and I had never seen anything like that before. I knew something was terribly wrong.

Me too. Trump was up 800,000 votes in the evening in Pennsylvania only to lose it by morning. How was that possible? We all saw it. But we were told nothing to see here. Ballots pulled out from under a table. Mysterious trucks rolling in at 2 am. Polling places putting paper up on the windows so no one could look in. A pipe breaking at one polling location (I think Georgia) were they had to stop counting so they sent poll watchers home then they started counting again.
Oh because of COVID poll watchers had to stand back about 10 feet and couldn’t see the ballots.
Who told was it 5 different states to stop counting ballots at the same time?
But THERE WAS NOTHING TO SEE HERE. I am so glad Trump is getting to the bottom of this all. I would like to see all the truth come out about that election.

As I see it, because of this unforgivable behavior as well as their actions during the Covid era, Democrats are responsible for the deaths of many Americans. How anyone could want to pledge allegiance to a party like that and be labeled by their name is beyond my comprehension.

Yes, but I think not quite for the reason you think. Preventing crime is as much about society's attitude as about the punishments. When we are living in a tough on crime era people aren't sympathetic to criminals. When people feel crimes will socially isolate them they are less likely to commit them. When democrats go soft on crime they are directly or indirectly telling criminals, it is not your fault you are a criminal.

You are suggesting that an attitude change is the reason for the sudden crime drop in violent crimes rather than the law enforcement crackdown on violent illegals and the deterrence of sealing the border? An attitude change that has made criminals think they will be socially isolated if the commit violent crimes.

I disagree with that for a few reasons, here's two:

1. Democrats have not backed off on being soft on crime one iota since President Trump took office. In fact they have doubled down on being soft on crime, so much so that they are trying to block him from deporting even the most barbarian of violent criminal rapists, child sexual predators, gangbangers and murderers. So why would that be a reason that crime has declined so precipitously in so many Democrat run cities. Far more likely it seems to me is that it is in these "sanctuary" cities where the crackdown by the Trump administrations has hit the hardest to reduce crime because they were intentionally filled with a high per capita population of illegals by the Democrats.

2. If you look at some of the thousands of hard core animalistic barbarian violent criminals Trump has already removed, I seriously doubt they would be deterred by social pressure. Many of them were in prison for violence in their own countries and hardly deterred there before their country dumped their prisons out on the Democrat's open border to invade America. So after breaking into this country illegally I think it very unlikely they would be swayed by social sentiment about their behavior by anyone in the US. These are seasoned hard core subhumans.
