You can pay for “the real thing”. There are prostitutes everywhere. As long as you’re not an idiot about it, or abusive, or looking for something socially unacceptable, like underage partners, then it’s not difficult or necessarily dangerous to do.
The real reason that prostitution is widely illegal is that it disempowers women. When a woman can’t weaponize her sexuality, she has almost no power over a man. This forces her to actually develop an attractive personality to attract a suitable mate. We know that they don’t want to do that. So keeping prostitution illegal makes men’s use of prostitutes antisocial behavior. Look at how the left frames the entire dynamic. Women who choose to be prostitutes are empowered, valuable and deserving of our protections. Yet men who patronize prostitutes are gross losers. Sexuality is a weapon for women. Legalizing an entire industry that primarily benefits male sexuality is literally disarming a lot of women.

What I was surprised to find out is that State gov'ts have partnered with prostitutes to be their muscle and made it a rape charge if a man doesn't pay the prostitute.

I think it should be an entirely civil action to recover the fee.

I always had the opinion that if prostitution was legal it would lose a lot of the allure. I think most guys get hookers because it is something illegal and sleazy.
