Why do liberals in the U.S. have fewer children than conservatives?

There does appear to be a real fertility gap in the U. S., and it has become more pronounced over the past few decades. A 2026 survey of more than 7,000 Americans ages 18–54 found conservatives reporting 1.40 children on average versus 1.09 among liberals. Conservatives also said their ideal family size was larger: 2.71 children versus 2.16 for liberals. The difference remained statistically significant after controlling for age, sex, religion, race, income, marital status, and education. WHY?

1. Because conservatives are stupid and struggle to foresee and weigh in the consequences of their choices beyond an hour after the decisions have been made. They'll have a child just because they ran out of condoms and were too lazy to go to the store to buy some more.

2. Because incest and pedophilia are both part of their customs. Children born as a result of these deviancies aren't aborted even if everyone involved is garanteed to have a shit life. Same goes for teenage pregnancies. Dysfunctional, immature, under-educated teenage parents give birth to children whose shitty upbringing will put them at great risk to replicate their parents' mistakes in life.

I don't know about the past 20 years and have not researched it, but with the atmosphere as it is today in the US, why would any liberal couple want to bring a child into it? It would be cruel and unusual punishment for all involved, especially the child if things don't change when the clown goes away.

The biggest difference i see upon reading this question is that it's not enough to counter the indoctrination and brainwashing that the liberals have infested our schools with.

Seriously. When the most attractive thing a man can do is not have sex with a woman then you end up with fewer babies. At least it's a decent hypothesis to consider.
