TikTok/social media and the political climate has rotted their brains.

Everyone thinks they’re right and entitled to the finer things in life, like their feeds constantly bombard them with, and I’m sorry but it’s just not how life works.

here's the thing about algorithm driven social media feeds too, everyone’s is different. Everyone likes their own music and entertainment and there’s less and less of a monoculture that unites everyone. What you think is cool is very likely not what I think is cool.

It’s hard to relate to people now.

Prefect answer. We moved far away from understanding that other people might have a convincing argument that will show flaws in your own beliefs, but it's important to have empathy towards the other persons views.

And just because your views are flawed doesn't mean it's not the best and most just thing you got at the current moment.

But nowadays everything is vote red or blue for the right thing, but noting is ever that simple.

My guess would be that so many of them (myself included in this case) spend a lot of time online and on their phones and not enough time outside interacting with people... and even when they ARE outside they're still on their phones the entire time. 😅 Also COVID/the pandemic didn't help AT ALL. It ruined arguably the most important years of development for Gen Z. The transition from the end of high school to the start of college.

People in my generation aren't able to hear what others say. They don't pay attention what other say and reading between the lines it's absolutely black magic for them. Being the friendly listener who doesn't say I don't care about this or that is the essence of friendship.
They should try out.

I was already a chronically online kid, but I was getting better in junior year of highschool, I had really blossomed... which is when covid hit and we were thrown into online school, so I became chronically online and never recovered from there. 🤣🤣🤣

Because the majority of them think that if we are cool on social media then we are cool in real life. Some of us are not able to create real connection because some are more interested in knowing how many followers do you have. As a Gen Z, only by birth though, I find hard to find connection because the majority of them, expecially younger generations, are superficial and constantly wotj a phone in their hands

It's mostly because they wanted to be taken advantage like the millennials and blamed for all the mistakes the bombers made. The "okay, bombers" was a thing. But I don't blame them for hating the bombers.
