Frankly Muslims mostly don't fit in with Western culture. Quite a lot do and they go unnoticed - as they should. They are just another guy or woman. But a disproportionate number just don't and this is substantially because of the Islam religion puts them on the outside.

Very few perhaps, but some do do terrorist acts like the Bondi Massacre.

It is a very reasonable question as to why would we take muslim immigrants when there is a non-zero chance of an act of terrorism?

Indians are very Western and no issue at at all with them so I don't see why you suggest they are hated. I don't anything that suggests they are.

Being threatened is not going to be fun for anyone. Sadly those on the lower rungs of society can seek to elevate themselves by being abusive to groups such as Indians. There was a quote here of US president LBJ saying you have to make the lowest white feel superior to any black.

It is naive for me or anybody else to think that is not a factor. Regardless though it doesn't seem to be very common locally to me. I used to work for an Indian company by the way.

We do not hate Indians. They are civilized, educated and make tons of money. There are various religions Except Islam are not issues for us and the First Amendment of the Constitution ensures that.

Meanwhile, middle eastern and many Turkish and "Stanish" Muslims are consumed with hatred for Christians and Jews and give ample reason not to trust them and even to fear them. That's just the way it is.
