Of course it is nonsense. Denmark as well aa Greenland itself supplies free healthcare to all of Greenland and the quality is at a standard you would expect from a frontrunner country.

Now, if we are disingenious and do not mind stretching reality so wide it is basically just lying we can make the argument parts of Greenland do not receive prompt healthcare.

The reason is simply that Greenland is big and the population scarce. So there won't be a hospital in every remote 50-people community.

Comparing to the US, Greenland has more than one hospital per 10 000 people. The uS has one hospital per 55 000 or so people. This means Greenland has more than 5x the hospital access per person.

While we can make the claim that if you live far from society you might not receive hospital care in time, and that is the only way Trump can claim to not be lying, that is even more so for the USA which has far fewer hospitals per person.

To be blunt, if he found that unacceptable he should instead try to build another 20 000 hospitals in USA to give americans equivalent access to hospital care. After that of course, another 25 000 or so to actually be able to speak from a moral highground.

Trump is a horrible communicator.
He relies on grandiose speech to get the point across.
Often times he's correct (like with education, or certain foreign relations), other times he just makes stuff up? 🤷‍♂️

What the US needs is a Reaganesque type figure. Trump is not a unifier. He is combating things that need done (like immigration), but his speech is very poor. Especially for these tines.

I support a decent chunk of things he's done but I also often walk away shaking my head with how he talks about them.
That's just Trump 🤷‍♂️

Of course. Greenland has free healthcare and there’s no health emergency among the population at all. There are several hospitals in Greenland and the greenlanders can also go to Denmark for free healthcare. It was just gaslighting propaganda as usual, because irony is just a few hours before Trump made that statement a united states submariner had a medical emergency on a US submarine outside of greenland and was airlifted by helicopter, by greenland, and taken in for treatment at a greenlandic hospital. I guess Trumps ego couldn’t take that.

The population is small - about 56,000. Less than many country towns in Australia. I don't think you could expect that size population to support a major full function hospital.

I don't actually know the truth; however, it's a safe bet to say that Trump is lying. If you always say he's lying, you'll be right more than 90% of the time. I think a speech was fact checked and over 98% of it was shown to be false.
