By the looks of this map, (hopefully, it is big enough to read here) Greenland is teeming with minerals. So it has a lot of monetary value. The problem being, it takes lots of money to mine and remove it. It will give Greenlanders jobs, but it will be US taxpayers whose money pays for it. So if the taxpayers pay for it - in a sense we are investors - does that mean we get a cut of the action, like in lower taxes from all the profits? Or will that money just go into the pockets of the rich and powerful? I mean seriously, what do the taxpayers get from all the expenditures for all this stuff Trump wants to do besides higher taxes?
