Are younger generations really less committed to work than family time?

Do you feel that today’s generations feel more strongly about family time over a strong company first work ethic? In the past it seems like employees wanted to work more overtime to get ahead in a company. Now most employees seem to consider work as just a paycheck and not a true career. What are your thoughts?

I don't know about other "youngers" but the ones in our family are all into family, because that's just part of our tradition

none of them will be "loyal to company for money"

Alas, working hard don't get you anywhere these days. A lot have cottoned on.

And you can work as hard as you like, you still probably can't afford the basics that the older generations had in their 20s, like a family and a home.

Maybe when so many were working at home during and after COVID that they liked family life better than working away from home.

Most younger people have no since of loyalty or self responsibility. Or that is my experience very recently. Most lie and just want money from others. Yes I am harsh on this matter because of being lied to and taken advantage of very recently.

They are more about balance in life and needing to be in the right mental state and such

They don't have families it's just them trying to appeal to boomers about their inherent laziness consuming social media slop and video games
