6.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. This is Israel's war.
Iran was never a threat to the U. S. It never even attacked anyone. It only responded to attacks by Israel.
Throwing off imperialism and getting rid of the Shah was not aggression against the U. S.
Israel had been lying about Iranian nukes for decades. But the Ayatollah had banned the development of nukes. And nobody thought Iran had a nuclear weapons program.
Israel wanted to destroy Iran because it opposed Israeli aggression and was assisting Israel's victims.
Trump is in Israel's pocket. He takes money from Miriam Adelson, AIPAC and Zionist operatives. He is probably co-opted by the Mossad-Epstein honey trap.
His son in law has strong ties to Israel.
Hegseth, Rubio, and other advisors are neocon war mongers.
Trump is a thief who steals other countries' resources. He was buoyed by his easy success in Venezuela. He thought he could steal Greenland.
So he took the bait and decided to bomb Iran on behalf of Israel, thinking it would be intimidated into capitulating to his demands. Boy did he find out!
Iran destroyed U. S. military bases in the region, took out radars and communications centers, and closed the Strait of Hormuz. The dumb asses in the Trump administration hadn't anticipated any of that.
So, the U. S. lost $billions in assets, was driven from the region, had its offensive and defensive capabilities blinded, used up more than half of its missiles, got 20% of global trade shut down, regional allies lost faith in U. S. defensive capabilities, and the world saw the limits of U. S. power. China, in particular, has taken notice.
The U. S. got its ass handed to it and Trump looks weak and foolish while claiming victory.
The Strait of Hormuz is still closed and it would take years, if not decades, for the U. S. to replace its destroyed assets.
In the meantime, Israel continues to expand its aggression against Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon with impunity with U. S. support.
80% of the world hates Israel. And the U. S. is hated for supporting Israeli aggression.
Way to go, Trump. Such a brilliant leader.00 Reply

Anonymous(45 Plus)15 dIt shows he has no idea what he's doing over there. Two weeks ago the plan was to inflict economic pain and that lasted until nobody joined the US in that fight so we're back to launching missiles until they run out again. The war is basically over. Hegseth has lost the military and they won't fight for him which is why all the military leadership is either quitting or getting fired. There aren't enough people left at the top of the US military to effectively plan a continuation of war other than bombs away.
Iran has outsmarted the Donald buy dragging it out. It's pretty obvious by now the Democrats will take Congress and they won't approve funding for the war and Iran knows it. The new Iranian leadership is far worse than the last one but they're not dumb. Because of the war, the bond market is heating up raising borrowing costs, the Fed is going to raise interest rates in 2 weeks, the stock market and everyone's 401k is going down and pressure is all on Trump to wrap this up with no clear path to victory.

Nice propaganda.
Just reading your first paragraph is enough to show you have no idea what you are talking about.
The economic pressure never stopped.
Iran's rial is now trading at 2 million to one
The Toman increased by 7,000 within a 3 hour period.
Please try better
Opinion Owner14 dIran's economy is irrelevant. It was shit 6 months ago, it was shit a year ago and it will be shit in 6 months. Iran's leadership feels no pressure to end this based on their economy. They'll just steal more Bitcoin. The real pressure is on Bessent, Lutnick and Trump because they need a new MoU before the next Fed meeting in two weeks and need it to hold through the October meeting to try to save the midterms. The bond market is going to stop the war. This is a stock market driven administration and time is not on Trump's side right now.

So Toman increasing by 7,000 on 3 hours means nothing?
Protests from both supporters and dissenters means nothing? - 14 d

Oil is at $88 last time I checked 🤷♂️
Gas is lower than at Bidens peak in 2022
Not sure what you are talking about
Asker14 d@FrodoSkywalker007 So, you're telling me that when Americans pump gas, they're telling themselves that "Gee! Trump must be doing a great job because gas prices were much higher under Biden! I feel so much better now!" Let's look at the difference... Gasoline briefly topped $5 a gallon during the Biden presidency because a post‑pandemic demand rebound collided with constrained global supply and a geopolitical shock from Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, producing a sharp spike in crude and pump prices in mid‑2022. Why are the prices high now? Because Trump started an unprovoked war with a major oil producer without consulting with allies or having a cogent plan to end hostilities and return the oil market to stability! Trump dug his own hole! Biden's actions did not cause the rise at oil prices! Obviously! Apples and oranges!
- 14 d
It's high due to artificial inflation
Why is gas in my area about $4 when oil futures are $40+ lower than during the Biden Era?
Its because corporations are taking advantage of a narrative to inflate. - 14 d

He is absolutely correct here.
If you check oil futures, it's only $89

Trump won because he never loses...
I'm still waiting for the nuke to go off. I hope it never does, but probabilities are a lot higher than a year ago. If not a nuke, a major strike on mainland usa. God help us all...

If Iran doesn’t cooperate take care of their bridges and anything else then they will finally cooperate like Trump says you cannot allow them to have nuclear technology a madman country like that. Just don’t harm the human beings, but you can take out the rest of their infrastructure

Asker15 dReally? Doesn't look like Iran is ready to "cooperate"!!! This shit has been going on for months. Trump's and Hegseth's lies are catching up with them. In addition, starting another trade war with Canada is a horrible distraction... which also is screwing Americans and American businesses!

Asker14 dSo, what is Trump need to keep lying? If we are "winning", then he should just shut up and produce a surrender from Iran ASAP! Stringing American citizens along telling them over and over again that they just need to be. patient is a stupid strategy! It's not helping Trump, and it's not helping the GOP! If it's "5-100" after 7 months and $37 billion, I think you're a score is more than a bit off! Bessent is now announcing more "economic pressure" because the military action is failing! And, starting a trade war with our second largest trading partner in addition to all of this, is absolutely idiotic! The government is being run by lunatics and psychopaths!

15 dJust as I always predicted 🤷♂️
I've called this correctly for months.
It's going to continued to be low scale until after midterms.
Not much of a need for anything else with Iranian economic collapse 🤷♂️

Asker15 dThe "low scale" strategy is not working in the favor of the GOP. But, I suspect that Trump doesn't really care about the GOP... only his own ego while he focuses on building monuments to himself... putting his mark on everything...
- 14 d
Of course it is
Oil is at $88, and Iran's economy is being destroyed.
What can Iran do? Launch missiles ar oil tankers and Arab nations?
Asker14 dHere's the reality check for you. Trump said the war will be over in a "couple of weeks". Over $37 billion has already been spent with absolutely nothing to show for it.. Iran has shown no sign of surrendering. Bessent now claims that they will apply more economic pressure. Yeah, it really looks like the US is winning! I just pointed out that the hot war has started again. Why is the war taking so long? If Iran's military has been destroyed, why are they still firing missiles? Trump needs to stop lying. He needs to keep his mouth shut until it's over! His MAGA base is buying this bullshit, but the rest of the country is not!
- 14 d
Let's use logic.
Since February, there have been perhaps 60 days of strikes. That means 2/3 of the time hasn't been spent fighting 🤷♂️
In actual combat, it's close to the length of the Gulf War.
Iran is capable of firing a few missiles? So what? How does it compare to the hundreds a day they launched early on?
Why is Iran only capable of launching a handful at a time?

Furthermore, Trumps claim of 2 weeks was in June.
I already debunked this nonsense in our last convo
Are you seriously interested on getting your ass kicked again?
Asker14 dDude, this isn't about playing mind games! This is about reality! The majority of Americans are experiencing an entirely different reality than the one you are tempting to describe!! It's not a pleasant reality at that! Ultimately, it doesn't matter what you or I think! The majority of Americans are not happy with Trump! You can believe whatever you want to believe! You are not "kicking my ass" ! Trump is kicking all of our asses, but I know you don't see it that way! The midterm elections will give everyone a new perspective! We will know then if the polls are all lies!

Asker15 dNot so sure. He already just forked over $5 million to E Jean Carroll. We have just gotten so used to him ducking and dodging, we don't pay attention when something does happen. There will be more, but I won't lose any sleep if he checks out asap!
