There are only a few races that are close enough to be able to affect the result with a few thousand ballots. It will only take two seats to flip the senate so they are concentratiing on Michigan and Maine.

I think Trump is going to make any and every attempt he can legal or otherwise to steal the 2026 election for the Republican party. Trump himself is not running.

my guy. i'm not sure it matters. the election is just a chance for them to back down. conviction is also on the table. i fear if things don't go right then people will die. so if he doesn't lose i fear for him. his only play is to lose so he's trying to guarantee it.

if he doesn’t allow mail in votes then real people with an ID will have to show up to vote, which is fine by me because I’ve always stood in line and showed up to vote. I’ve never mailed in one to vote and never will since there’s no way of knowing if it actually showed up and they put it down to be counted

@goaded they could just have set times and spread it out for the day to avoid all that so at least you have an accurate count with no fake ballots, that way either side cannot accuse the other of cheating

There are no fake ballots and there never have been. This is just a pack of lies that Trump created to justify the fact that he is scared. The people might really know the truth about him and his behavior and vote accordingly.

@goaded it’s easy to cheat with mail in ballots for either side because it’s just paper and can be duplicated or the mail can be purposely lost or stolen

It may or may not be easy to do that, but so far nobody's done it and there's no indication anybody's going to bother.

The actual mathematics involved are so formidable that you would literally need to persuade millions of people to vote in a certain way to have any effect on the outcome. This is a big reason why nobody is bothered. It is just not practical to do this.

What do you think from a logistic standpoint it would take to persuade a million or more people to vote the way you wanted them to? Because that's exactly what it would take and probably a lot more than that to influence a presidential election. I don't think it's doable and neither does anybody else because nobody really engages in fraudulent voting. There is no payoff to this and the penalties are extremely heavy if you get caught.

I don't think such a thing could be hidden under any circumstances. It's just too big and ponderous. Would be like trying to hide an elephant in your living room. It might fit if you really worked at it, but it certainly is not going to be unnoticed.

Trump's trying to get away with a rule that would allow the USPS to not deliver batches of 10,000 ballots if just one bar code fails to scan properly. (Audits have shown 5% failure rates are common.)

The Texas redistricting has the possibility to blow up in his face. Heavy Hispanic districts that voted for him won't vote that way in November. Which means they might lose seats they thought they'd gain by redistricting
