I think Trump wants to kick start the American economy but he's inherited a big mess. The media seems to be against him and most people tend to believe what they read in the papers and what they see on TV. I see people tend to pin the southern perimeter on Trump but that was started decades ago and has been continuously built since then. If I'm not mistaken, the largest section of the wall was erected during Obama's administration. Politicians should listen to their voters and I believe he seems to be doing this... Internally for sure. However in regards to foreign policy, as we all know certain lobby groups and deep rooted organisations tend to coeherce politicians to pursue their interests.

It is bigger than just a single act like closing the borders or giving Americans a big tax cut. He is bringing American Exceptionalism back. Instead of going on an apology tour, he is showing the world that America is still the world superpower and he is taking the steps to make sure it stays that way. He offers no apologies for it

Actually dealing with ilegal immigration discouraged more from coming. Look at what happened in spain or how the uk deals with it.
